Flakes started flying down on Randalls Island (North Tip of Manhattan) around 7:30. Its 8:00 now and its coming down steady but nothing crazy. Ground (asphalt) turned white already which is good. I hate when it snows and melts when it hits the ground.
I left for work around 6:00 and it was 23 degrees in Yonkers, im about 16 miles north of NYC and they were reporting 31 in Central Pk. What a big difference in temps.

Holding at 31 F and sticking everywhere.
I've reached an inch on the ground.
