If you're referring to the collection of tools known as Americanwx, why do you care? They're a bunch of Narcissistic, immature little b!tches who stroke each others egos (and who knows what else) and think they crap chocolate ice cream and whiz sunshine. Agree with Jim. Don't base your feelings on that board. There are some great posters and people there ( a couple of mets are good, Earthlink, and stormchaser under the isotherm id, etc), but many are argumentative and obnoxious.

You have read enough of my posts (presumably) to know that my answer to your question has me violently torn between horribly sarcastic and sappily supportive. After typing a few answers (visualize scene from Animal House with devil on one shoulder and angel on the other. I cannot type what the devil was saying, but I suspect you get the drift), I have decided that I cannot resist...

Many people on Amerianwx have no life outside of the board and thus resort to taking their aggressions out by hiding behind a computer screen. 99% of them would probably cower in real life. As other have said, there are some gems, like a few select members, DonSutherland (probably the best poster), and some good mets. But by and large you've got to sift through a ton of crap to get to the worthwhile postings.

Ditto what storm said. If anyone gives you problems i can bet it's one of two things. They are either jealous or they are insecure, or maybe both.
