Snow rate has slowed and sounds like
maybe a little sleet mixing in
about 1 inch on the ground, looks like it will
stop soon radar is drying up!! Hope the main storm throws
alot more this way!! cause if it doesn't I'll be lucky
If I get 3

Storm,
Flakes are huge here and that's usually indicative of a snow/rain line nearby. meanwhile at my lowest temp - 29.6 at the same time. Late Feb and March storms are almost unpredictable in borderline situations.

Ice, changing over to snow as precip lightens in intensity here.
This storm has me biting my fingernails. If I don't see a better radar in a few hrs I may be jumping ship.

Long Island anywhere from 1-7, take your pick. Another difficult storm to predict. ABC saying 1-3 and NWS more like 6.

Storm, glad to here that. That line must have inched just south of me. No sleet here at all - just heavy snow and smaller flakes now. The big wet flakes mean the rain/snow line is right on top of you though (and we had snowball size flakes here at one point) and I'll bet it was another situation where southern Colts Neck, tinton Falls etc mixed or even went to sleet.

Good news -- beginning to see convective banding over MD/DE usually indicative of a coastal low intensifying. We'll be in and out of snow bands over the next several hours; the steady snow probably arriving after midnight.
Heavy snow now at 30.2 degrees. Dew point 29.

Heavy snow, big flakes now near Belmar. Roads just covered in the 10 minutes that it changed from all sleet to all snow.
