yea, if these keeps up i think all the forecasters are going to have to change the totals. Heaviest on the coast and south jersey, not nw jersey.

Looks like the radar is filling in nicely down in DC, if that continues we will get heavy precip a good part of te nite

I'm starting to understand why the national weather service put LI under a heavy snow warning. I'm in Nassau and we have about an inch already with moderate snow falling. From the looks of the radar, more bands are on the way. Suddenly 1-3 inches seems like it is a very low total that Bill was giving out, at least at this point. No sleet mixing in either at this point.
