the nws is calling for 4-8 for longisland and t.v. mets are calling for 1-3 some one has to bust big lets hope it's the tv mets but im not a 100% confident about that. also here in nassau we had a band of very heavy snow witch coverd colder surfaces nothing on the roads.  after that band passed we starting mixing with sleet and rain and as of now it is mainly sleet and rain so at this point it unfortunitly looks like the nws might bust and that 1-3 might be right. llet's hope it changes back to a moderate or heavy snow soon or that1-3 might bust also.

We had a heavy band about an hour ago and everything is covered.

we had one here too but it didn't cover the roads and then it switched to sllet and rain
