i think were in for a dissapointment...my forecast from NOAA has changed from 2-4 inches over night with anohter inch tomorrow to less than half an inch tonight and less than half an inch tomorrow with rain and sleet mixing in all night. weather.com doesn't even have the winter storm warning up for monmouth county anymore.

Looks like my call of 3-6" for Monmouth county and 4-8" just NW of us is most likely. Sleet mixing with snow overnight going to hold down accum here.

Maybe, but we've got all night yet. Radar presentation is improving, although I'm not thrilled with the popcorn T-storm look.

Storm what's your call for me here in Nassau county on the North Shore, I got about a inch already and it's coming down decent right now. I feel good , but then I hear people saying it is going to stop soon. That's not true right? Im thinkin 5-6 inches. What do you think based on radar and your instinct

Storm,
Sleet with just an occasional snow flake mixed here now but precip is very light. Temp up to 29.7. I hate these type of storms. Can we just put an end to this winter and get us to 60 degrees and spring. It's a winter I want to quickly erase from my memory.

I agree Ice, I am done with the dissappointments. This event just doesn't look very good right now, even for NW NJ.

I have about 1.5" here. The rain/snow line has come up and there are reports of sleet in Brooklyn. Unless that line gets pushed back south you'll change over on LI too.
