just changed again to sleet and rain in centeral nas :'(sau

Same on Staten Island.  You can even see the snow on the sidewalk becoming slushy.  This sucks!!!

Freezing rain, sleet and snow in eastern Nassau, temperature 29.8. Wind starting to pick up out of the north-northeast. I think the coastal is starting to take shape.

It's pretty much heavy rain now with maybe a little sleet mixed in.  Blah!

Well there is supposed to be more coming in after 1am and cbs had snow showers for us tomorrow so there's hope yet.  I think!

Maybe it's not over yet.  I can hear sleet hitting the window rather than rain now and I do believe I am seeing some snow mixing in again.

What are u guys talking about over. You do research you know its not alomost over. Stop it already. Yeah sleet is coming down now so what. Go check weather.gov..Moderate to locally heavy snow will develop by midnight.Relax it just started ..Man you people need to relax. this storm is gonna be here till midday tom..


P.S. I agree right now it sucks i was just driving my friend home, it's amost like rain, but it will all change soon.  All main roads just wet also.

It's already changing back to snow. Thankfully that rain wasn;t able to do much damage to the snow already on the ground.

It is going to go to a heavy snow in nassau withing the half hour. NWS says heavy snow right after midnight

I have heavy sleet right now but I do see some snow flakes every now and again.  Hopefully that's an indication that it will go back to snow shortly.

That's just because this winter has been atrocious, people are right to be skeptical.  Either way, we still have Yankee baseball coming up so that's a plus. :)

Not me !  I am not giving up a good nights sleep to maybe be disappointed!  It's still sleeting outside with snow mixing in.  It did change to all snow briefly but now I can hear the sleet against the window.  Hopefully it'll be all snow soon.
