NE Queens. I want to end my night on a positive note.
Surprisingly heavy snow falling now. Now sleet.
30.6
Hopefully we wake up to several inches.

Am I the only one getting this snow? Very heavy here with very limited visibility. Huge flakes but no sleet or rain mixing @ all. Temp steady @ 30.6 and dew point @ 28. 89% humidity. A few inches already with many people shoveling already.

Looks like you are in one of the sweet spots. Some nice banding set up for some areas. Where I work in Parsippany looks like they are getting pounded on radar. I wonder if it actually is h snow or something else. Here it's coming down nicely we are probably a little over 2 inches but also a lot of graupel which is keeping the accumulations down. Need those big flakes to have it add up. I hope you score nice on this one geek. Take some pics!

Elevation 605 ft.

Heavy snow here in Southern Westchester. No mixing whatsoever.
A solid two inches on the ground currently, side roads completely covered.

Heavy snow here as well and the flakes have gotten smaller. That might be a good sign that it will stay snow.
