Yea I just got home from Black Friday shopping, which was unbelievable by the way, and was pretty surprised to see the models for this time frame. EURO even has some snow in the forecast...

The NAO forecast is trending towards negative with the PNA going positive. I think what I'm seeing on the GFS is over blown...but we may be seeing hints of a change in pattern. We'll see how it plays out.

The GFS is still hinting at a storm around this timeframe. The Euro is still printing out a couple of inches to the burbs of NYC.

The Euro has a light snow event for the area next week. GFS,GGEM and Euro agree on it.

It looks like the GFS made some improvements at H5 towards the Euro with regards to a potential coastal. December 5th - 7th timeframe.

I have a feeling that this winter the midwest will get pounded with snow, while the I-95 corridor will get rain with heavy snows in the far north and western suburbs. Maybe a few light snowfalls in the big cities, but nothing like the last 2 winters, where snowstorms buried the East Coast. We will see.
Yeah. It's been a while since we've seen OH Valley storms and Appalachian runners.
