Good radiational cooling this evening, that will probably not be the case later. Meanwhile my forecast low tonight is the low 40s. In actuality it is currently 37.8 degrees and falling fast. I would say that is some poor temperature forecasting.

Down to 34.5 degrees. Now that most of Nassau County is in the mid 30s the official low temperature has been lowered from the low 40s to upper 30s. Eventually they may get it right.

Some very good radiational cooling the past few nights and tonight is starting out the same way. Already down to 34.3 degrees and falling fast. Upton has really been off with the night temperatures the past few nights, missing by some 10 degrees. Tonight they are calling for the low 30s and unless something changes, they may be off by 10 degrees once again.

More cloud cover tonight so I think they were banking on milder temps due to clouds at least for tonight, no excuse for the last few nights though. I forgot what my forecast low was for last night but we were in the 20's even at my house, hard frost on the car this morning when I left for work.

My little wunderground icon on my profile says 41 degrees. It's nights like tonight that I wish my weather station was up and running because I can tell we are already in the mid-upper 30's here.
Floral Park, NY is reporting 36 and in my experience, my temperature more closely resembled FloPo as opposed to LGA during RC nights.
I heard it was 12 at Toms River, NJ this morning!
