it just started to snow moderately in New Paltz, but the radar shows nothing at all! how does this work? what makes the radar sometimes "miss" the precip that is falling?
looks like a good coating to occur in about 10 mins

yea paul, same thing here in poughkeepsie almost like that stationary band is coming into our area, according to the models it should be developing over us this evening, maybe this is what it is doing, what did you wind up with? i measured 5.1 inches, not bad here in po town.
