Since old man winter is on the run, anyone think we may see a hurricane (CAT 2 or better) here in the northeast this summer?  By the way does anyone know when was the last time NYC seen a CAT 3 or better?

The only major tropical systems that I remember off the top of my head are the 1938 hurricane that hit Long Island and Floyd back in '99.  I'm sure there were others(think one hit the Jersey Shore around 1960 or 1962) but I just don't remember them right now...
