Much warmer/more humid morning than yesterday - temp was already 90 degrees at 10am today, now I'm up to 95.2F, my high for yesterday. Dew point is 75.
Storms firing along the sea breeze front to my SE. Winds have been relatively light compared to yesterday; mainly out of the south.

Storm,
96.5 here and much higher dews and humidity today. Intense CTG lightning developed all at once just barely SE of me. I was down at the Colts Neck shopping area near Rt 537 (Orland'o Pizza) and came out and saw the dark cloud expanding rapidly. It expanded all the way back to my house but is moving off to the east as it does so. Some huge rain drops here and loud thunder with the sun out as the cell barely grazes me. Biggest raindrops I've seen in a long long time. i imagine that southern Colts Neck is in some intense rain and the thunder is getting louder and louder, and more and more continuous down that way.

Just looked at radar. It looks like a seabreeze induced line of storms near me and a pop-up by Storm. Still hearing loud thunder here but it's drifting east.

Look at the position of the storms. Definitely a seabreeze induced line. It happens almost exactly in that position on days like this though this line is extending about 10-15 miles further north than usual. Typically it's Wall township on south. Sun is out here but still hearing occasional loud thunder to my SE. Rain drops were enormous in size, just not many of them.
Seabreeze created front can easily be seen by temp contrasts right where the storms formed.

Ice,
Looks like my high will be 95 again today as T-storms are on my doorstep. Just had a passing shower and now it's even more humid than earlier. Opposite of Arizona. Currently 87/80% humidity.

Sun back in firm control here and thunder is gone. But the closeness of the storm dropped me to 92 from a high of 96.8. The storm actally moved NE rather than east. But the loud thunder always was SE of me. But it got close as I saw a few vivid bolts. Weird to see lightning so close by with bright sun shining outside.

Seabreeze must have died as the storms just evaporated at once.
You can see it moving up through Mercer/Middlesex counties on radar right now. The lifting mechanism is NW of us, so no storms.
Back up to 91 degrees here.
