Still waiting for them out here on LI. I saw just a couple at Jones Beach the other night inthe dune areas, that's it. Seems late this year.

Speaking of late, just started hearing a few crickets over the past couple nights and no cicadas. They daytime noise usually starts in the 3rd week of June and the crickets are usually deafening by now.

I wonder what's up?

I see allot on Long Island this year, they are out pretty much every night at dusk. Definitely more than last year
