The guy that caught the ball in the stands is from Queens NY and was wearing a Mets shirt. He had only stopped in SF while on his way to Australia. What a story & charmed life.

Great, at least now we don't have to hear about it anymore. Bonds can play out the string, retire and walk into the sunset. Realistically, Bonds could end up with around 770 home runs by the end of the season. Let A-Rod's countdown begin. Hopefully he stays healthy.

No. Bonds said he doesn't want the ball, since the fan has the right to keep it.

Really? I guess that kind of gesture from Barry surprises me. Don't get me wrong. I'm not on the "hate Barry" bandwagon. I think its a shame all the negative press he gets has taken away from our enjoying and appreciating what is arguably the best all around player ever. But the guy is a self-centered prick. I figured he'd want that ball no matter what.

They targeting Arod since he has hit so many HRs. I hope they don't ruin his image, with negative crap. It would be interesting if he did use that.

That's a big reason why I don't like him. If he was a decent guy like Jason Giambi, I could appreciate the record. However, combine his surly attitude with the steroids and I just can't get excited about this.

wonder how many pitchers used roids??
I'm sure Clemens is suspected of taking them. Look at the guy. He's 45 and he has the body of a 20 year old. I know he has a ridiculous training regimen, but still. Father Time has to take over at some point, unless your taking some sort of supplement.

Yeah, I guess. You just don't know what to believe anymore. Yes, good old-fashioned hard work can make a big difference if you're really dedicated to strength training but some of these guys just look unnatural. To me, A-Rod looks legit but who knows?
