I think Clemens did the right thing last night in plunking Rios.  The yanks retaliate less than most, which is probably a testament to Torre's style.  But last night, after the benches were warned when Arod got hit, Toronto got away with hitting Cabrera (i think it was him) in the sixth inning.  Not intentional for sure.  Not a fastball either, but he was hit in the arm.  By rule, I thought, after a warning a pitcher gets tossed for a hit batter.  Since the Blue Jay didn't get tossed and to back his team mate (and knowing it was his last inning anyway) I think it was a good time to do it.  Would have been better with 2 outs.

right...definitely not intentional.  none the less, after benches are warned, my understanding of the rule is that the pitcher should have been tossed.
