Redskins owner Daniel Snyder is either a delusional moron, or visionary genius.
I'm putting my money on the former. I don't know anything about Zorn, but I know a lot of new head coaches with experience as a coordinator have a big learning curve. This guy has never been anything more than a quarterbacks coach.
I really think Snyder has more dollars than sense. Personally I think Jim Fassel would have have been a wiser choice.

He has no idea how to run a sports franchise. He obviously was successful elsewhere, but running a sports franchise is unlike any other business. They have to make some serious player cuts too as they are about $20 million over the salary cap.

Snyder kind of reminds me of Mark Cuban. A young guy who made billions in another industry who wants to be this rebel owner of a sports franchise. Cuban has had success with the Dallas Mavericks; they went to the NBA Finals two years ago and have been a good team for several years. However, you're correct, sports is unlike any other industry. You can't just throw money around and expect to have sucess. A lot depends on chemistry.

Now, suppposedly, Snyder wants to trade for mister Ocho Cinco (Chad Johnson). This guy just doesn't get it.
