All depends on the track and exact location. It's probably going to be a close call. I would not put my money on 2 feet. Hope for a foot total (between before any change and after) and be happy with by far the biggest storm so far this winter. If the track is right, 2 feet can happen but it's really got to be a more easterly track than is progged right now.

Snowgod, I also have difficulty with the 20" NWS forecast for Sussex County (although if the low bombs in a perfect scenario that's certainly palusiible). My instinct tells me a lot of heavy sleet gets into your area between the snow on the front and back end. A real mess, however, no matter what happens as you stay well below freezing for the duration.

It is not snowing because of the dew point and the dry air, once the air starts to moisten and the dew point rises you will start to see some snow...

You will notice dew points and humidity climb because of more moisture making it to the surface and you will notice temps drop as dynamic cooling sets in (for those of you unfamiliar: this is when precipitation actually cools down the surface by drawing colder air aloft to the surface [via falling precipitation]).

It HAS started, just depends on where you are. Hasn't started here yet, at least not last I checked but when I came out of the supermarket in Jefferson on 15 there were some very light flakes in the air. Give it time. By the way, where are you located?
