Kuwika Mitchell and Gibril Wilson seem to be the Giants' biggest free agents. I heard that they might go after Lance Briggs of the Bears if Mitchell leaves.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Bruce and Law retire now that they've been released from their respective teams. Those guys have been around for awhile now.

Probably not. The Giants have enough cap room to re-sign both of them.

As a Jet fan, I believe the Jets are takin the risk to get better on both lines of the football. 2 Great moves by the Jets, eventhough we lost Vilma.
The Jets definitely upgraded on both sides of the ball. Faneca will add experience and strength on the offensive line and Jenkins (if healthy) will certainly enhance the pass rush and can also clog the middle on running plays .
Vilma wasn't happy with the Jets anyway. Besides, the defensive scheme didn't match his strengths.

this year's free agency period is starting out exactly like last year for the Giants - very quiet. in the end, it worked out i would say. still, i'd like to see Reese do something here (lance briggs maybe?).

Torbor is no loss. Gibril Wilson got a ridiculous contract. I would never have come close to matching that, so I don't mind that. Mitchell got a very reasonable contract. I thought the Giants could have matched that one.

I don't think any of them are irreplaceable. They're good players, but certainly not pro-bowl caliber. The only thing that concerns me is that the Giants don't have any stability at linebacker. We always seem to have two or three new ones every season.

i cant believe the giants didnt make some moves. i have not heard anymore on the hall trade. if we dont give up the last pick in the first round look for the giants to take conner from penn state. hes a linebacker. maybe briggs as well. that would be huge
