As Peter Griffin would say...HOLY CRAP!
In that case, I've gotta be looking at 6-10, maybe 12.

First of all, don't listen to summer, most negative poster on the boards. If the wave is one way summer is the other way. We are not going to know how much until its over so get your rulers ready.

Enjoy it up there RG. I'm looking at a bookend snow with sleet and freezing rain at the height here in interior Monmouth county. I'll be satisfied if I have over 4" on the ground by Wednesday night.

Actually Upton dropped accumulations in Rockland to 4-8 inches, vs. 6-11 inches during this afternoons forecast. Hey, these guys won't figure this out until this is well underway. I won't be surprised if I wake up tomorrow morning with 12 inches on the ground and predicting another foot. Its happened before and it will happen again.

Free ride,
Don't know why you say I am being negative when I was quoting Alan Kasper... You did not dispute that I correctly quoted Kasper so with know facts to back you up you went after me personally - good attitude

the accumulation forecast for Albany is 15-30 inches. Wow. Virgamans Poughkeepsie is 8-16 inches. A lot of cold air is damning in, temps in upstate N.Y. near zero.

NOAA is now only calling for 6-10 inches for Sussex. They mentioned sleet will mixr in now bringing the total down.
It would not suprise me if it changes again before tomorrow.
