Started snowing already and is mixing with sleet temp is 24.. Guess this is not going to be a good storm at all if I am seeing sleet already mixing in here in woodbridge nj

It is also snowing and sleeting here in Atlantic Highlands, NJ In NE Monmouth COunty at 5:55pm

The reason you're mixing is probably because your precip is very light.

BTW..i dont know if anybodys noticed but the temp has dropepd drastically since the high was reached..now 23...if this storm can go a little further southeast..which it looks like it may..all these areas that are mentioned might be getting 3--6..maybe even 4-8..

i don't think the cold matters if people are getting sleet with temps at 24 already. The warm air is going aloft im thinking from the low moving up. If its mixing already, this just might be bad news for everyone.

Ground temps are irrelevant in this storm. 850mb temps are key. NYC probably tops out at 33-34 surface and 40-42 at 850MB level tomorrow.
