I didn't want the Yankees to get Sanatana. They would have had to give up too much, i'm fine with their team right now. Now you are trying to start a Santana debate? Come'on, keep Santana, I dont want him.

Alou is doing great on the DL, he spends most of the season on the DL. I heard he filled some gum in the clubhouse the other day, so thats progress. We dont need Santana!!! A little question for you. What pitcher has the most wins in the major leagues over the last 2 years? Answer- Chien Ming Wang with 38. Last year, Wangs era was 3.70 when Santana's was 3.33 and Wang was in a much better hitting divison. I dont see the big difference really.

Alou is always getting hurt. If he hasn't gotten hurt in his career,he would of had one hell of a career. Wang is a great pitcher but comes the playoffs and he chokes. Maybe it's because he's nervous or he could be still too young. Who knows. Santana is the best pitcher in baseball so don't compare no one to him

Come on, Wang had 1 bad postseason!!! Plus he was on 3 days rest in his second start against a VERY good hitting Cleveland team! Who knows what Johan would have done if he made ithe playoffs last year. Did I want the Yanks to trade hughes, joba, and/or melky for Santana? NO WAY. Snowfreaks comments are rather weak, because I dont think the Yankees had that much of an interest in Santana. BTW- Alou hit me a foul ball in a Padres-Giants game I went to in SD back in 2006, so I like him for that.

Actually he didn't do that good against the Tigers also.It doesn't matter,he's still a awesome pitcher,I remember when the Mets got Santana, alot of people were questioning the Yankees about how come they did not go after Santana. I guess they want to keep their young ballplayers and see what they could do. I haven't caught a foul ball in a long time

I dont want to break ANY of this up!
Joba, Hughes, Kennedy, Wang, Cano, Melky, Even Shelley Duncan. That is what the Yankees farm system has come up with in the last few years. The first six I mentioned all have the potential to be all stars, and some already have been. Let the future play out like we did in the late 90's with Jeter, Pettitte, Bernie, Posada, MO etc.
Here are Wangs stats in the only game he pitched vs. Detroit in the '06 playoffs. Doesn't look so bad to me.
C. Wang (W, 1-0)
IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA
6.2 8 3 3 1 4 1 4.05
