the shield is a great show but i basically stopped watching tv a few years ago, except for sports and travel.

Because of the Writers Strike..The Shield got pushed back to September.The Network didnt want it to compete with the Olympics.
Rescue me has 22 new episodes..but they decided to wait until Next March to bring it back.
I am not happy also...Rescue me is the BEST Show on TV.followed by the Shield.

That's BS. Rescue Me is the best show on television. I've never watched the Shield, but it's obviously a very good show. The Riches, which is on now is also a great show. They cut the current season for The Riches down to only seven episodes. I think the FX executives are out-smarting themselves with these decisions.

This is what I hated about The Sopranos. The hiatus between seasons was too damn long. You forget about the storylines and begin to lose interest.
