i think you said your in colts neck correct? whats it doing out there? i'm in shark river hills, near belmar and its been sleeting non stop, fairly heavily for a couple hours..at least .2 inches of sleet on all surfaces, treacherous road conditions out there...i think this high may keep this low off the coast much further south and east than predicted, i don't see any way we turn to plain rain here at the coast as predicted.. you agree?

Lull in precip where I am 5-6 miles west of Freehold. Temp of 20.7. Glaze covering all surfaces.

Precip has stopped here now. We've had mainly sleet. Temp now down to 19.8!

forte im a bit closer to you (middletown), not much coming down right now. storm/ice what are your feelings for our area, does it stay mostly ice?

yea I believe it has stopped outside now...storm is heading off Virginia, should begin to bomb out and hopfully stay south and east

it would be incredible if it did, i just wish we could get atleast some minor accumulations here.. like 3-6 inches

Unless the SE coast low takes a track offshore you won't see a snow flake again until the storm gets abreast of us tomorrow. By that time it'll snow witha temp 8-10 degrees warmer than your current surface temps. Frustrating isn't it.
