heavy sleet  and 15 in Cornwall Orange County. thats gonna put a big dent in the snow totals up here...just when out on a fire call, roads are a mess!

I dont see this storm lasting past noon tomorrow by the time the dry slot fills in wont see much of anything

The bottom line is unless you live well north and west of NYC, this is no big deal, especially for the city itself.  1-3 inches of snow is nothing, especially for a February storm.  The icing is a serious situation but let's face it, who here is going to start getting excited about ice?

Snow, maybe not excited, but this could go down as a very dangerous storm that needs to be kept track of. Could cause massive power outages, etc.

That also depends on where you live.  If you live on the coast, the ice will not be a problem since we are supposed to get heavy windswept rain.  If you are just north and west of the city, then yes, the ice could be more of a problem.

Sorry, I'm just fed up with this winter.  It's getting to the point where I just want Yankee opening day to be here already.
