Since its hot...what are the best tower fans that will provide AC type cooling for a single room?

I have a portable fan in my living room and that fan is powerful,even if it on low.

vornado fans imo are the best. little pricey but lots of air movement.

I would move to Maine, its cooler and they get snow :(
