after losing 5 out of 7 on the west coast lets see if we can take advantage of a struggling arizona team tonight! alou came back tonight and is in the lineup but we also lost church and is on the 15 day DL.

Mets lose 9-5.
This team is just awful and it's getting rediculous. They were up 5-1 going to the 5th and then the D backs just came back and tied it. The D backs scored 1 more run in the 8th on a hr and 3 runs in the 9th off of Sanchez. The boos were raining down on the team and Willie.

I'm usually pretty optimistic, but I'm about to throw in the towel on this team. We've seen it for 30% of the season now. There's no fight in them. They get a 5-1 lead, but as soon as the other team smacks them back - they lay down and die. We've seen it over and over with this team. It is a very flawed group - particularly in the clubhouse.
You're only young once, but you have your whole life to be immature!

Mets win 5-3 on a walk off hr by Beltran in the 13th. Thank god. It would of been a horrible loss if they would of lost the game.
