Today was actually very dry here and the coolest 90 degree day of the season. But it again hit 90 here topping out at 90.8. We must be at 15 90 degree days here now and we'll probably run the table for the rest of the week. 95-100 potential exists for Friday and Saturday.

One of the things I love about central NJ is our summers are Philadelphia-like and our winters are NY-like.

No snow anytime soon. Get over it. The season is still young. I see you people like to pay a lot for heating oil.

I'll bet you it stays very warm well into September this year. Summers like this sometimes don't die until early October.

It's actually only been in the mid to upper 80's down here in Charlotte this week. The humidity has been pretty low too. Over the w/e it was low 90's, but now you guys are about 5 degrees warmer, go figure.

Are you crazy? August is the dog days of Summer. The Humidity and Heat start pumping our way. Even September can still be hot. It usually doesn't cool down until late Sept into early Oct.

The end of August and September can certainly be hot and humid. However, I agree with Snowfreak in that the first signs of fall often come in toward the end of August. I have seen many a time in late August the first few cool nights of the approaching fall season, usually followed by more warm to hot weather.

Not true at all Terry. If you have a Canadian pattern it can really cool down after August 15th. But we are far far removed from a Canadian pattern this summer. This is a long hot summer.

I hope this heat lasts into next March, like how this past winter was.
