I hear some thunder in the distance also,but no rain here yet..had 0.31" earlier this morning
as always,my streaming cam will be running

Very little thunder just a steady and fairly heavy rain. There is more heading this way.

Received .39 inch of rain this evening and .51 for the day. Needed it bad and hopefully more to come.

I had 0.31" for the first round in the morning yesterday and 0.40" lastnight...
total of 0.71"

Heavy storms moving in off the water, almost in a training effect, toward eastern Nassau and western Suffolk. Little rain here at present but thunder is getting louder.

lab i like the colors on that radar. that bigger one on the south shore should hit me i DONT want these things rite now. damn thunder is really loud rite now its that crackling thunder that scares the crap outta you if you dont expect it.

Woke up to some vivid CTC lightning at 4:30 and then heard some booms after that but almost everything was west or north of me. Got some rain but not much. That banding near Deer Park is very impressive. But as expected the main band remains well back into Pa.

Skies here have become partly sunny and with the sun comes the warmth. Temp now up to 81 and it is very uncomfotable outside.

84.4 here and mainly sunny. Downright oppressive out there with a 74 dew.

The heaviest rain from those storms that just passed went to my east. I have received .25 so far today. Lab that is a great radar, colors look good.
