With the way it's paws are grasping the ground in frustration it looks like most of us do when snow changes to rain in a 2" liquid event.

You can count me in the don't buy it camp. There's no way to tell whether or not the image was manipulated with another program, i.e., photoshop. Judging the validity of that picture is like an astronaut showing you a photo of an alien on Mars. There's so many wackjobs that want nothing but publicity these days, I wouldn't put it past them to pull a stunt like this. As the guy mentioned in the article, it could very well be a latex figure handcrafted, that someone purposely put on the beach there. Or, it's really some type of decaying canine which was lost at sea for awhile. I could buy into either of the latter two options but there's no way in hell that thing's as they claim IMO.

There was an article in Long Island Newsday today about this. It was reported that the body was taken by someone and buried on their property. Nobody would disclose the name of the person who owned the property or where the property was. The only thing they said was the property was large. Personally I think it is buried on a large piece of property, under a big pile of bull----.

Anyone that found something that looked like that would have it inspected by pros. Instead this was buried by an unknown person? Definite fake. Nevertheless - it still looks like most of us wailing in frustration when front-end snow changes quickly to rain in a 2" liquid event.
