Is anyone going to work today? I am looking outside and see a lot of cars on the road. I couldn't even let my dog out via my deck this morning too slippery. Does anyone know the stats down in Morris County like around the Wayne area? I wasn't going to go to work but now I am wondering if I should try..............

I'm about ten minutes from Wayne and there has been a little over an inch of sleet. There's a lull in the precip now with just some freezing drizzle.

I am not going to work today. Not sure of conditions on the road but I would imagine they are not good.

winterbird - the radars have been wrong all night.
i think people are looking outside and not seeing the snow they thought and thinking the roads aren't bad. big mistake imo.

I noticed that it is weird about the radars,is that just because of the warm air aloft? As far as the roads i'm not going anywhere.Wow just had a huge wind gust.Is anyone driving in Hackettstown?

Still pouring sleet in Oak Ridge, 1 mi south of 23.
Temp 12.6 down 1 degree in the last hour.
I tried going down my road. Got about a mile a turned around.
Salters have been out but no scraping with plows. Strage because there is two inches of sleet on the roads.

there have been a handful of folks on the roads in Randolph. Sleet is coming down hard rigt now with a little snow mixed. Given that there is still a bunch of stormy hours ahead, I would not advise trying to get to work if you can avoid it.

I'm not driving sixty miles one way in this stuff especially when I have sick days and vacation days available.
Currently light sleet with about 1.5" on the ground. Sleeted all night.
