Yankees have a 4 to 2 lead in the top 5th. Also, Giambi has cut off his mustache.

Wow, Padilla balked 2x in the same inning, and gave up a RBI to Giambi and also a HR to him. Cano hit a HR.

Very bad call by the 3rd base ump. He reversed a 2ouble play call, cause he claims the ball bounced and hit the pitcher. Then after that with 0 outs, the batter hits a 3 run HR to give them the lead by 1 run.
5 to 4 Rangers in the bottom 5th. Joba is pissed. The umps got on Padilla, and now played the Yankees.

The ball did hit Kinsler. But I don't know that he was still in the batter's box. Of more concern is Joba having to leave the game. At first I thought maybe the heat just got to him. But then when he rubbed his shoulder. Hopefully its just a knot or something

On the replays it looks like the ball bounced off the ground then hit the batter. I think they took Joba out based on the events by the umps. That was a big mess for Joba, going from 0 outs, to 2 outs, and only to have the 3rd base ump reverse the call back to 0 outs.

The trainer being out there is not a good thing. Hopefully he's okay.We really can't afford to lose him. Even with Hughes and possibly Pavano close to coming back.

I am one that supported Joba becoming a starter since I knew he was good as a relief pitcher. I hope he is alright. I still don't trust Hughes on the mound. Same crap with Kennedy and Igawa. One good start isn't going to impress me. This isn't a time to say the season is early. Its August now. This isn't April and May. Soon it will be Sept, and then things will start going crazy.

I think Hughes is going to be an outstanding major league pitcher. He just has to trust the stuff that got him from single A to the majors in 2 years and stop trying to nibble and be cute. Chamberlain carries himself like he has no doubt he belongs in the majors. Hughes and Kennedy looked scared and as if they were waiting for something bad to happen. And I think Kennedy has a lot of talent as well. But I will tell you what. Joba Chamberlain I think has the potential to be one of those really special pitchers...a Nolan Ryan, Roger Clemens type of dominating ace that comes once a generation. He has all the tools and he has that "it" factor.
On the other hand, Kei Igawa sucks.

The X factor strikes again. Nady hits a solo-HR to tie the game. That almost got caught too.
5 to 5 tied up in the top 8th.

I wonder if its a good thing for Mariano to come in if he does. He worries me lately when the score is tied up.
