I have a couple of videos that I recorded on my camcorder and I want to transfer them to my PC but through a VCR. My computer doesn't recognize my camcorder but I have a device that lets me watch videos on the VCR on my computer.
How can I transfer video from the Camcorder to the VHS tape on a VCR? I looked through some Google results and they were either too complicated or didn't make sense. Do I just hook a cable from the cam to the VCR, let the video run in the camcorder, and hit record on the VCR?
Looking for some answers if possible, thanks!

The specifics will really vary based on your camcorder and VCR. However, what you essentially want to do is connect your camcorder to your VCR (most likely via the Yellow/White and maybe red cables) to the INPUT ports on the VCR, not output. Then, you need to set the VCR to record from the INPUT on the machine, not from a channel. Then press record and then press play on your camcorder.

it still depends on the video camera you have, but the instructions for how to set it up start on page 49 of the manual you attached. The variable is the type of connections you camera has. If you look at the picture and you see the 3 plugs they show going to the camera, some may only have two. If that is the case the plugs are almost always color coded white, yellow, red. As long as you keep them matched up you should be OK.
