Virga,
When I saw it snowing hard here at 3AM I figured Robbbs, RGW and most certainly you would be having a whiteout. I'm amazed at the scope of the sleet zone. My temp is dropping now - it's dowm about a half a degree to 23.9 since I got up. The ground temps are now irrelevant. We need the coastal to kill off all the damage the 850MB low did. And with reports of sleet at 8 degrees (8 degrees for cryin out loud) that damage is awesome.

yes my gosh if this were snow, i would be getting 2 to 3 inches per hour, i have dark blue showing up on radar, but in fact its all sleet, not even a snowflake mixed in, i did have almomst a changeover back to snow briefly at 645 am, but now just a wind driven sleet.
