Ponson sucks tonight. He is out of the game. He gave up 5 runs and still 0 outs in the bottom 3rd. Robertson coming in.

What is up with the orange glasses they are wearing in the game? Arod had them on last night, and now Giambi has it on too.

7 to 0 Toronto in the bottom 3rd.

Bad start for Ponson and then Robertson coming in and allowing more runs to score. I know these guys didn't want to get shelled but I would have to think Yankees management is starting to plan for next year and thinking about who fits in those plans. Overall, Ponson has been a very pleasant surprise (Yankees were 6-3 in his 9 Pinstripe starts). BUT...tonight was a night against a premier pitcher where he needed to keep them in the game and he failed at that task. Again, I know he wanted to do well. But he folded under the pressure of going up against Halladay. Lots of guys lose to Roy Halladay. But keep the team in the game.

As for the glasses, they said something about some glare it reduces.

I wonder if Halladay is using the cutter Mo taught him. LOL

I feel bad for Michael Kay who has to watch this game.
Go Yankees, Jets, and NY Rangers!

Add insult to injury. Robertson gave up a bases clearing 3 run double in the bottom 4th to Stairs.

10 to 0 Toronto just in the bottom 4th. These are numbers the Yankees should be putting up.

Agreed, Terry. Maybe not 10 all the time, but they put up way too many 2 runs or less games for this line up.

On another note, did you see what Halladay just did? The guy has a 10-0 lead and he comes out, throws 5 pitches, every one of them a strike and retires the side. He doesn't care its a 10-0 game he's still competing. Lets hope the Yankees are too.

I hope they take Halladay out of the game, and then the Yankees have a chance.

Matsui breaks the shut out game, by hitting a 3-run HR off of Halladay.

13 to 3 Toronto in the top 7th.
