WCBS: "Precipitation might be just about over and we will be left with only light snow or flurries in NYC" Maybe an inch or less in the city.... Hope this is wrong.... Anyone disagree with this???

This has basically turned into a "why bother having a storm" kind of storm. At this point yesterday, it was sunny on LI and now the storm is over. You can't get a big storm if it can't even last 24 hours.

cheer up, if it were not for that arctic high, we would have had a flooding rainstorm with temps in the 50s and then we would have wished for all this sleet lol

Anyone else just want this winter to end after getting this slop? I actually caught myself thinking about spring this morning.

Dev, I am with you. I just spent 2 hours shoveling this mess. It was too heavy for the snow blower. Time for winter 07 to go away.

LOL, well ice is normally slippery yes, and since they have not plowed the side streets expect very dangerous side streets.

This crap would destroy my snow-blower, lol! Way too hard and thick. I'm gonna sleep well tonight between shoveling and not sleeping much the past couple of days tracking the storm.
