I dont mean to be a pain, but it is like a white out here!!!!!!!  huge intense flakes pretty cool  this has to be at least an inch or two per hour

Virga, its the wind making it look more dramatic. It's not snowing at 1-2 inches per hour.

just look at the radar dutchess county is being plastered, we have about one more hour of this then it quits so enjoy it. lol ;D

Yeah its definately snowing 1-2" per hour up by him, maybe more

between 1:00 and 1:40 I picked up an inch
calmed down a little now, but still a good clip

Virga, I am going out now to video and my daughter will help me post it, we hardly have any winds now, but blinding heavy snow.  Our radio station said that it is coming down at about 2 inches per hour, so I know what you mean.  About a foot, with over 2 foot snow drifts on my back sliders.

I count 4 bands moving east-north east. It's not over for NY State.  Maybe some of this will graze north Jersey.

Some of these are pretty strong.
