Yeah i've been following it. Similar chord progression but that type of thing happens a lot. In this case though the melody is very similar (not exact but close) and the time is even the same. He defintely has a case. If you listen to Satriani's full song though, that melody is just a small part of the song, only about a minute of a 6+ minute song. I say they just settle out of court. Both bands are talented imo but Satriani is a guitar god.

it was kinda of cool together, yet sure can see where satriani has his problem. isn't there a limit to how many chords/notes (whatever) you can copy before it becomes a problem?
