it looks to be 40-50 mi south (in ohio) at 18 hrs. thats a world of differnce

I'm just tuning in right now, but so far the 00z NAM looks very good. High pressure now 1039mb with the low pressure quite a bit south.

40-50 miles with this storm could be the difference between an all rain storm and 6+inches of snow.

This is a good run so far for NYC. The low is further south.

Storm, looks colder and further south. We (you, me kelli etc) are .5-1 degree colder on soundings thru 21 hours and snow is supported.
Edit - not good at 24 hours, better at 27. We are really on the fence here. This should be better for NYC.
