Do I count sleet in my totals for the winter? I prefer not to. What do you guys think?

Sleet is counted towards your seasonal total -- so yes.

I'm certainly going to count it!!!
4-5 inches of sleet plus 3 maybe 4 inches of snow adds
up to a hell of a lot more than we've seen all winter!!!

Navasink River Road in Monmouth County - bad icing. Lots of trees down. Rt 35 closed in Hazlet, Rt 36 closed in Sea Bright. This area got hit hard with the ice.

3in. of sleet 3.5 in. of snow
6.5 total. btw that official measurement in central pk. of 2in. is way off!
i was in nyc (it was a helluva commute) and there is a good 4in. of sleet there.
from 7am to about 11 am it was very heavy sleet,never seen anything like that before.

CPK only 2"? Can't be. Reports of 4" in Brooklyn and 3" here.
Those damn zookeepers don't know how to measure.
