Looks like the cold will be moderating this week.
Does anyone have a sense of how the next 2-3 weeks look?
Are there any snow chances?

Temp will be around 30 and lows in the teens, which average. So it's really not blowtorch or brutal cold. Looking like a dry sunny week on tap, maybe something Friday/Saturday..

If today's Euro is right - then about an 18" snowstorm next week.

I will be down south, so this time it might actually happen.

All you need is the southern stream and for it to tap the gulf. This would be a major hit up here - note the 995MB very moist SLP east of NJ. Just scroll down. you need to go to e-wall for QPF but it would be 18+ if it hit the way the 12Z Euro shows. Big HP in canada forces a loaded miller A to redevelop on the coast, ton of cold air, bloclking. The stuff to dream about. Actually has a lot of support from other models as well.
