How long can we expect this snow to last storm?

Coming down gangbusters now with a temp of 18.9. Coating thus far -- looks like we'll end up with a solid 1" tonight in central Jersey. Long Island possibly a coating to 1/4", but the main batch is headed for north-central/central NJ.

Well that's right on my doorstep o let's see how it looks. BTW - the snow blower handled the sleet real well but that ice sometimes shoots back at you because the machine is just not made to deal with it. The sleet is so different on the ground than snow. It looks like someone poured a giant container of salt all over my yard.

No snow blower here Ice. Can't blow solid ice. LOL. Can hardly dig the shovel into the sleet/ice as it's hard as a rock.

Never saw a drop of freezing rain. I can't believe that line was so stationary in the short air mile difference we live in. Then again there are a lot of things I have a hard time believing or accepting about this storm.

After doing my driveway and averaging it out I'd say I had 3.5-4" rather than the 5" I thought earlier. I actually had one spot with a 12" drift if you could believe it. I had one burst of heavy snow around 3AM and I wonder if you got that in Lincroft. Some pretty hvy snow about to hit you in a few minutes.

The heavy part of this line doesn't want to come my way grrrrr lol. It just keeps sitting on the border like 5 miles away from me.

Storm - radar getting impressive. That 1" may be conservative. I'm sittint at the 9" mark for the year and this could get me to double digits tonight.

Ice, you picked up 2-2.5" more of sleet than me, so I'm only sitting at 6.5" for the season. Maybe make it to 8" tonight? Very heavy intensities on radar.

idk guys seems like the radar is overestimating the intensity of the precip.
