Just reading the nws disscusion from philli and they say that it looks like we will have a pattern change next week with temps rising to above normal levels again. They also made mention at the possiabilty of a sig precip event around the same time but they cleary point out that as of now it only looks like north west jersey gets frozen precip as most of the area will have temps in the forty's. Im just assuming but they must be talking about the storm that jb talks about in his blog today were he calls for a strong storm to develope in the gulf and ride up the coast giving us a wind driven heavy rain event. nws philli also says that even if temps next week are lower there will be eigher no high to our north or a much weaker one then what was present during yesterdays event. Also on the 11 o'clock news last night lee goldberg said that it looks like around the 23 of febuary our temps will finally get into the mid 40's again. Let's hope that if this is true it's not an extended period or we can basically forget about any major snow storms this year we'll atleast form nyc east. Hopefully we can get a surprise with the clipper on sunday i know it doesn't look that way now but i guess we can hope.

Let's wait and see what happens before we jump off the ledge. AccuWeather had yesterday's storm progged as a rain event with temps in the 50's about a week-10 days ago. The way this winter has gone, you can't trust anything more than a few days out. How many false alarms have we gotten the past couple of winters about cold and snow 7-10 days away? The opposite can also happen.

no i think the mild weather late next week will be a isle of warm in a sea of cold and we will see colder weather by the end of february and the first two weeks of march, there are however many hints on accuweather including JB that it may be a warm spring coming up which is fine with me , one thing i cant stand are those cold and drizzley april months

Hey, I'll take a nice, warm spring. I love snow as much as you guys, but I can't take those cold April days either. When it's supposed to be nice, I want it to be. I like seasons and gradual shifts in temperatures. I don't like going from 45 to 85.

Absolutely. That was incredible. Didn't it last for almost a week? It was surreal watching the NHL playoffs on TV, then stepping outside and it was still 85 degrees AT NIGHT!
