Storm and everyone else - drove around Colts Neck this morning. The freezing rain line was about 5 miles below my house. From about midway down Montrose road (just below Dutch Lane road) to Colts Neck High and south into Howell it was almost a copy of what you have shown in the pix thread. Amazingly north of that spot it was what I have though the accums got deper as you moved a mile or so further north. You could literally have walked the length of a football field and gone from 2-3" of sleet and trees in perfectly upright positions and barely glazed to very little sleet and trees that are heavily weighed down with ice. I've never seen such an abrupt change in my life. If this had been snow it'd be like a foot of snow on one end of Giants stadium and an inch on the other. Totally incredible. If I didn't see it I'd have a hard time believing it.

Ice - it was a very abrupt change. I do recall last winter's early December storm was quite a cut-off as well. I had freezing rain with temperatures several degrees higher than this storm -- around 30-32 -- with 4-6" of snow accumulating in Holmdel and Matawan. .
