Any chance the US had of coming back in the 9th against Japan was lost when Jeter's error led to 3 insurance runs for Japan in the bottom of the 8th. Nice going, pretty boy.

Oswalt got hit hard. The starting pitching wasn't good for the U.S.

Peavy had been awful throughout the tourney, so even if they won tonight they probably would have gotten beat tomorrow.

Even though I was upset that USA beat Puerto Rico I wanted USA to beat Japan. I hope Korea wins because I am getting sick of Japan always winning.
