isnt is next mont when dr William Gray comes out with his predictions for thsi years hurricane season?.....if that true make mention of this and also what are this years names,and do you think the northeast could get a hit this year(all the hype last year of a hurricane hitting new york was so overblown)

I'm not Robbbs but I know what his response would be -- you know we can't predict whether or not the Northeast will be impacted by a hurricane this far in advance. Synoptically speaking, everything needs to come together perfectly for a hurricane to ride the east coast. As I've mentioned in my other posts I do see an above average Atlantic season this year -- but who's to say they can't all recurve out to sea. We won't know for another few months.
