CONCERNING...SEVERE POTENTIAL...WATCH UNLIKELY
VALID 091001Z - 091100Z
ISOLATED STRONG WIND GUSTS AND GENERALLY SMALL HAIL...SOME
APPROACHING SEVERE VALUES...ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE LINE OF TSTMS

Strongest cell in the line looks like it's headed straight here. These lines and cells ebb and flow so it may change yet. However, this line looks pretty nasty.

Had another good one this morning, which woke me up again with very loud thunder and lightning and torrential rains. Will check rain gauge in a little bit but looks close to 2" total from both these storms.

Yes it was. Picked up 0.39" with the second one so the total so far is 1.58"
BTW-- with last nights storm ( the rain rate @ 1:30am was 5.33"hr ) there is a difference of .20" of rainfall between my Davis and the plastic tube that I use for my CoCoRahs mesurements ( tube was more) That was the first time in 3 months that there was more than 0.01" difference in them. I know this has been talked about in the past .
