The weather pattern becomes more complicated for Wednesday and Thursday, with many differences in the models this morning. Two storms, one (a Clipper) will move through the Great Lakes into the NE Tuesday night into Wednesday. The other storm will be moving out of the Southern Plains and Southeast. The GFS has the clipper moving through with some rain, ending as some wet snow Wednesday, with dry weather returning Thursday. The Canadian model somewhat agrees with that idea.

The European model model, from 12z yesterday, is much slower with these two storms moving slower eastward, with a larger, stronger storm off the Delmarva Coast Thursday morning. This would mean a chance for rain  Wednesday night into Thursday which would mix with or change to snow Thursday as the cold air comes in behind.

I currently lean to the Euro than the GFS/Canadian which means a rain/snow mix senario and see how much snow we get on the back end as the colder air filters into the area Thursday.

Bill what does the NAM suggest at this point?

That's beyond the Nam's time range at this point.

Bill - without looking this sounds great for New England.
