The JMA shows a major hit for NJ, NY metro, and LI. Shows much precip and below freezing 850 temps throughout the event. It's for the mid-week system next week. BTW, the JMA updates only once a day and this is what it was showing 24 hours ago. Also, despite some big wins, the JMA generally scores low on the model accuracy stats. Then again, I don't think any of the models have done very well this winter.
