Heavy snow now for 20 minutes in West Milford NJ.

heavy squall in north plainfield for 3 minutes. robbs anymore on the way

Robbbs - second squall of the day here. About 1/5" of new snow. Visibilities briefly dropped to < 1/4 miles. Gusting past 30mph with temps dropping into the mid 20's.

Back to flurries now but I was surprised at getting about 25 minutes of moderate to heavy snow. About 1/2 inch of snow with lots of wind; temp is down to 19.4. Radar shows these squalls to be widely scattered.

I have a nice view to my west and SW so I can get a good view of Central NJ and it has been cloudy and snowy there all day. You can see the dark snow squall clouds and you can actually see the snow falling (lower dark part of the cloud extending downward).

and both squalls miss me , I did get grazed by the one robbs had.  5 minutes of light snow

Rgwp96, my wife just got home from Woodbury Commons and said the drive was awful. Looking at radar, looks like she drove southeast from Warwick NY in the midst of the squall as it also moved southeast. Just flurries now and temp has rebounded to 19.9.

We've had on and off snow showers all afternoon here.  The last 2 have been heavier.  Pretty much only a dusting though.  They've been brief.
